Coming straight out of the motor city, The Dead Bloom are carrying on the tradition of loud, gritty, earnest working-class rock and roll. Dakota Starr (vocals), TD (guitar), Carney (bass), and Dan “the Birdman” Price (drums) make music that is loud, raw, and honest. From their first moment together, the mission was clear: write great songs and don’t over complicate it. Living in the Detroit area, the band absorbed their surroundings and the timeless music created there.The Dead Bloom wear their influences on their sleeves. Combining punk energy with classic rock melodies, they write stripped-down, hard-hitting songs built on big hooks, ringing guitars, and choruses meant to be shouted back from a crowded room. Musically and lyrically, the band does not shy away from how they feel. Their songwriting focuses on real life.
