The Biscuit Merchant started as a solo recording project in 2009, but has since evolved into a solo project with a band for live performances. Starting in 2017, The Biscuit Merchant embarked on a 26-album megaproject called Alpha. One new album will be released each year (10 completed so far), and eventually can be enjoyed in alphabetical order. All instruments are recorded by Justin Lawnchair. The live band features the talents of Anton Filyayev (drums), Daniel Hunter (bass), and Dhruv Talekar (rhythm guitar, backing vocals).
