Boomcat

Boomcat was birthed from the ashes of Hail Alien, with former members of HA Matt Maniaci and Rex Curtis wanting to make music still, and with frontman Chris Tomko of The Hourlies looking for a second project, it was a no-brainer for the three friends to start jamming and making some seriously groovy tunes. Very much an experimental and loosely-defined amalgamation of genres, Boomcat places an emphasis on having fun and crafting groovy hooks in their music. It gets heavy, it gets light, and it stays as DIY as possible. This band is guaranteed to be a blast to see live, and are tight musicians to boot. Their single, DBZ (Doom, Boom, Zoom), is 3 songs in one that perfectly exemplifies the myriad genres this band touches on.
