Cassette Stress

Heavy bass-driven riffs, lyrical hooks, searing electronic sounds, and driving drums combine in the knife-edge balancing act that is Cassette Stress. Bassist and vocalist Hiatt and drummer Liz build a wall of sound that you’d swear came from more than two people. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band draws from post-punk, industrial, darkwave, and alternative rock to craft songs about loss, regret, and mortality.
