Mystery Math

Mystery Math began as the home recording project of guitarist Chris Halverson and the release of "Finally Found It." The band has gone through several lineup changes while primarily being an instrumental indie/post rock band. The first lineup of Halverson, along with Greg Evangelista (drums), Nate Dort (bass) and Ray Goode (lead guitar) released the full length "Magnetic Domains" (2022) and a handful of other singles. Ray Goode departed the band in 2024 and they went on a brief hiatus reemerging as a three-piece with Evangelista taking over lead vocal and drum duties. The sound has also become more stripped down and even a bit poppy while still incorporating their influences of jazz, shoegaze, 90's indie rock, midwest emo and postrock.
