Premium Rat

Premium Rat is the project of Ypsilanti singer-songwriter Mer Rey, which has expanded in recent years to include Kim on drums and Osprey on bass. "A singer-songwriter with punk tendencies", Mer is invested in using music as a tool for personal reflection, emotional catharsis, and collective liberation. Their music touches on a variety of timeless topics such as depression, queer and trans identity, and the desire to burn all this shit to the ground and build a better world amongst the ashes. Premium Rat aims to break your heart and put it back together again.
