Second Hand Drugs

We are progressive in ideology but regressive in rock. We return our fans to the days of fuzzed out three or four chord songs. We make music for people who don't have a lot of time to listen to music. We are originally from Grand Rapids, MI (and 2/3rds of the band still lives out there). We are: James Wolf - Guitar and Vocals Christian Somerville - Bass Ryan Gravelle - Drums We are influenced by the garages and punks of the 60s and 70s from the 313 and midwest to the PWN and even sometimes from across the pond. We play like the Sonics meet The Stooges, The White Stripes meet Nirvana. All of this is also influenced by a love of bluesmen like Howlin' Wolf (no relation to James). On a radio play of our song Surfin' Spy, the DJ said that this song sounds like The Ventures on drugs, and that is the best compliment ever given.
