Wax Canvas

Wax Canvas is an alternative rock band made up of four friends from Detroit, founding in 2023 the group set out to create a unique flavor that could quite possibly be the soundtrack of the next generation. Drawing inspiration from the early 90's and artist that came before them, four people with different musical backgrounds came together to form a friendship built around the same lifelong dream. The vision was initially to bring emotion back to a scene that they feel has become oversaturated. Delivering haunting vocals, chilling riffs, and thunderous rhythm the band quickly landed gigs at the token lounge. Once word got out, Wax Canvas was invited to open Ann Arbors third annual music festival. Which lead them to getting invited back as a headliner at the world famous Blind Pig. Presenting 45 minutes of all original music and an experience that we like to refer to as Grave Dancing. Wax Canvas members include Jeremy Chassman on guitar and vocals, Nathan Wilkie on lead guitar and vocals. Chris Hunter on drums, and Nina Cruze on Bass and Vocals.
