In 2011, twelve Detroit bands were given the opportunity to cover twelve other Detroit acts in the
inaugural DETROIT x DETROIT (DETROIT by DETROIT) showcase. Fast-forward to 2025, and this local music round-robin has transformed into one of the most highly-anticipated events within the local music community, shining a spotlight on the incredible talent in our city’s rich musical history, present, and future.
