About The Venue
The Outer Limits Lounge is a Detroit rock n roll bar and record label owned and operated by John Szymanski and Kelly Jean Caldwell. The building (5507 Caniff) was purchased in 2012 and served as a clubhouse/recording-rehearsing studio/private event venue/etc. until officially opening its doors to the public in the fall of 2017. In coordination with the grand opening, Outer Limits Lounge released several LPs under the same name as the bar!
