“Another Cloth” is the debut release from Flint locals, The Headless. Released on July 7, 2026, “Another Cloth” is the first of three independent releases this summer.

The Headless was formed last year during a failed attempt to re-unite the band Diver, former Flint mainstay. When the band couldn’t find a singer, Andy, the former guitarist of Diver, stepped up to the mic.
The Headless is recording these singles and upcoming album with Marc Hudson of Rancho Recordo in the forests of Michigan. Marc mixes, masters, and helps with production.
The band is currently booking shows in Michigan, with a show at the Flint Local 432 on Sept 12th and the Ann Arbor Funhouse on November 28th
Another Cloth is written from the perspective of a recurring character in the lore the band is building with their catalog. A person born into wealth, above reproach who is plagued by his nightmares of a world where he no longer has power over others.
