Legace is a singer-songwriter hailing from Metro Detroit and a graduate from the University of Michigan. Now based in LA, she is known for her contrasting vocal abilities, swinging between powerful raspy vocals and a soft, retro deliverance. Her debut single, “El Dorado,” to be released on May 23, 2025.
“El Dorado” marks the start of Legace’s career. Instrumentally, “El Dorado” reaps influence from other rock-centric artists of the 70’s and 90’s, while lyrically entertaining a ‘storytelling’ prose reminiscent of ‘Hotel California’ by The Eagles. The record was in collaboration with Javier Goyes, a Columbian producer and sound-engineer with a repertoire for working with names such as Roxy Music, Julio Iglesias and Ozomatli. Their distinct influences have synthesized into a captivating concept, reframing the tale of the road to El Dorado through song.
